The Dankeskirche (Church of Thanks) is the central Protestant church in Bad Nauheim. It was planned from 1893, located near the spa facilities. Built in Gothic-revival style to a design by Ludwig Hofmann [ de], it was opened in 1906. The first organ was built by Eberhard Friedrich Walcker. [1]

The 70m high Dankeskirche steeple is a true landmark of Bad Nauheim. On 21 June 1906, the church was consecrated in the presence of Grand Duke Ernst Ludwig of Hesse (1868-1937) after only two years of building it.
